5'5", 39" chest, 33" waist, 166lbs.

A2, washed and dried a few times to meet personal preference lengths, especially pants.

Excellent gi, no markings, basic.

Like all 93 Brand fabric and stitching, this gi meets superior quality. After its first wash, it shrank maybe half an inch on the sleeves WITHOUT machine DRY. It's second wash the same. The reason I'm mentioning this is because I purchased an A1 after having previously used and shrunk A2s (93 Brand). It's taken me 2-3 washes and dries to get an A2 to my preference (one gi took 4-5 dries).

Excellent quality and product. I'm 5'5" between meso and endo, weighing between 161lbs and 164lbs. The sleeves are slightly cropped, but very comfortable in my opinion. I purchased a large, but, if I'm right, isn't much different from a medium except in length. This is long enough to cover my bottom.

Answer to: I am 5'8" and just over 200 lbs, but looking to slim down, would an A2 be a good choice?

You should try A3 and shrink as needed. Might take a few washes and dries to get the length you need.
